Hotel De La Tulipe
Splurge

This hotel is located in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower where a convent formerly stood - some remnants remain. They have an "apartment" that includes 2 bath/shower and toilet. It will sleep up to five people. Friends of ours have stayed there who found it to be convenient for sight seeing, quaint in style, and the owner very helpful. There is also a nice breakfast available with an additional charge.

Hotel Saint Merry
Splurge

This gothic style hotel is located in the pleasant Marais Quarter near the Centre Pompidou. The building itself is a former 17th century presbytery. They have a suite that will accommodate a family of five including a double bed in a seperate room, a single, a sleeper sofa, bathroom, dining room table and seating area. Saint Merry does not have a breakfast room. They do have room service and can help locate babysitters.

Hotel Migny
Moderate

This very reasonably priced hotel is located between the Opera Garnier and Butte Montmartre close to the Moulin Rouge. It is therefore on the edge of the red light district with sex shops, etc nearby. If you use the Metro, traveling in and out of the St. George station will lead you out of the edgier area versus Pigalle station which is more in the thick of it. The hotel has been recently renovated. Quintuple rooms have either five single beds or one double with three singles.

Hotel du Palais Bourbon
Moderate

This hotel is located near the Rodin Museum and very near a Metro station. It a moderately priced two star hotel. As a result of the numerous government buildings in the neighborhood, there are many gendarmes (policemen) around. The Hotel du Palais Bourbon has a family room that can accommodate 5 as well as a number of Quadruples that may accommodate a family of five with very young children. Basic breakfast of croissants, coffee and hot chocolate are included in the price. Other items like eggs and ham can be ordered at an additional charge.

Citadines Paris Louvre Apart/Hotel
Moderate - Splurge

Citadines Paris Louvre is part of the Citadines Apart/Hotel chain. They have a number of hotels around Paris. Some of which can accommodate up to six people in one apartment. Here, we are only including those which are reasonably priced. This particular hotel is located near the Louvre. Each apartment comes with a kitchenette making them a better value for those who like to prepare meals in their room. The website does not allow you to make a reservation for a family of five but if you contact them directly they will sort it out. louvre@citadines.com

Citadines Paris Bastille Nation Apart/Hotel
Moderate - Splurge

Citadines Paris Bastille Nation is as expected near the Bastille. The closest Metro is Reuilly-Diderot. Each apartment comes with a kitchenette. Baby amenities are available. Hotel Minerve
Moderate - Splurge

The Hotel Minerve is located in the Latin Quarter on the Rue des Ecoles close to the Cardinal Lemoine Metro stop. We stayed here four nights with our three young teenagers. The room that can accommodate a family of five is actually a double and a triple that combine into a suite. Hotel Minerve also has a quad which consists of two beds and a day bed with a trundle underneath. Wi Fi can be accessed in the lobby. Breakfast is served for an extra charge in the basement breakfast room. We ate coffee and pastries at the Patisserie across the street instead. The lady serving at the patisserie could not have been more friendly. There is a coffee machine which produced palatable coffee and hot chocolate and a vending machine with cold drinks next to it. The hotel is also near a number of restaurants and the Rue Mouffetard which has many reasonably priced restaurants. The location was perfect as far as walking distance to the Isle de St. Louis, Isle de la Cite, Jardin du Luxembourg and the Cluny Museum. The hotel staff was friendly and patient -- our favorite being the all night front desk manager. We took the RER/Metro in from the D'Orly airport with no problem, but because of the earliness of our flight out of Paris we booked an airporter through the hotel to Charles de Gaulle airport. Please note the elevator is tiny and so with the comings and goings of many guests the stairs are the fastest option.

Part of a chain of hotels with restaurants, this particular location has a room for 5 people - a double bed with 3 single beds. Two children under 10 years of age eat for free at the breakfast buffet with each paying adult. Rooms all have free wifi internet. Parking is available for a fee. The hotel is located near Porte de Vincennes, Palais Omnisports, and Gare de Lyon.

Located near the Place de la Republique, there are quad rooms that can accommodate 5 persons with 1 double bed, 2 single beds, and an extra bed. A microwave is available in the breakfast room, and breakfast is a small fee per person. One hour at a nearby gym is included. Internet access is available for a fee and computers are available in the lobby.

Novotel Paris les Halles
Moderate to Splurge

Located in the center of Paris' historical area, this hotel offers many extras for kids, including board games, welcome gifts, a play area with cartoons, and 2 kids under 16 get breakfast free when staying with 2 adults. There is underground parking for a fee, and internet that is free. Art is exhibited such as paintings and sculptures.

There are 5 'Executive / Family Suites' that have a queen bed, a sofa bed, and 2 armchair beds. Contact the hotel directly to reserve one of these rooms. The hotel's website reservation system is cumbersome to navigate - it is not easy to change dates, and the large suites are not included on hotel search sites.

Hotel Marignan
Moderate

In the heart of the Latin Quarter, a 3 minute walk to Notre Dame, this hotel, run by 3 generations of a family, offers en suite (private bathroom) rooms for 5 people on a quiet street with a farmer's market nearby.

There are no tvs and no elevator in the 6 story building. Breakfast is included in the rate, as is use of the kitchen, microwave, and laundry machines, and internet access on your own computer. The website says the hotel is "for families or small groups of friends" and Fodor's says the hotel is a "good choice for families".

Teissedre Bed and Breakfast

Located 5 km to Disneyland and 40 km to Paris, this simple bed and breakfast offers family rooms that are duplex apartments on 2 floors. They are all ensuite with toilet, washbasin, and shower. A family of 5 can stay in a family room with a double bed on the first floor and 3 single beds on the second floor. A babybed can be added on request. Breakfast is included, and only cash or French checks are accepted - no credit cards.

Explorers Hotel
Moderate to Splurge

Amazingly, this hotel has configurations that can be connected to sleep 4-10 people. A floor plan page will show you the options where a 4-person room with two double beds can be connected with a 2 single beds room with an option to connect another 4-person room plus another bathroom.

Included is free wifi, a free shuttle to Disneyland, and free parking. Upon request, a baby cot is also free. There are 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a playground, and an indoor pool with 3 slides.

Dream Castle Hotel
Splurge

At this Disney partner hotel, a suite will accommodate 5 people with 2 king size beds and an extra fee for a rollaway bed. A baby cot is free. There is an indoor pool with a slide, 2 restaurants and a bar, and a spa. The hotel is non-smoking. Included in the room rate is breakfast and a shuttle to Disneyland.

Magic Circus Hotel
Moderate to Splurge

Formerly Holiday Inn, this hotel is now a Disney partner hotel and a suite will accommodate 5 people with a an extra fee for a rollaway bed. A baby cot is free. There is a restaurant and bar, and entertainment includes jugglers, clowns and acrobats. Internet access is available for a fee. Parking and a shuttle to Disneyland are free. The hotel is non-smoking.

Citea Magny le Hongre
Budget to Moderate

Located a 5-10 minute drive to Disneyland, these apartments with separate entries and kitchens have 2 or 3 bedrooms and can sleep 2 to 8 people. Breakfast is available for an extra fee of 7.5 Euros, however internet and parking are free. Keep in mind that the reception desk is only open and available for assistance from 7am - 9pm Monday through Friday, and on holidays and weekends from 8am - noon, and from 2pm - 6pm.

Davy Crockett Ranch
Budget to Moderate

A Disney hotel, these 1 or 2 bedroom bungalows (cabins) that sleep up to 6 are located 15 minutes to Disneyland. There is not a shuttle to Disneyland so you must have your own transportation, though free parking is provided near your cabin and at Disneyland car parks. Each bungalow has a kitchen, double bed, bunk beds, and sofa bed, plus an outdoor grill and picnic table.

The 'ranch' has a grocery store, restaurant and bar, a playground, games room, indoor pool with slide, bike rental, tennis, golf, and character visits. On the website link you may find good deals including breakfast and Disneyland tickets.
