This
upbeat, energetic hotel is located in the heart
of the coastal town of San Juan del Sur. The
veiws of the sun setting over the Pacific are
reminiscent of post cards from Hawaii. There
are infinity pools overlooking the town and
ocean, a small collection of jungle critters
in cages, excursions and a quality restaurant.
The units that will house four to six people
are actually stand-alone casitas/villas that
are owned and then rented out by the hotel.
They are spacious for a large family with complete
kitchen facilities. There are numerous entertaining
house cats wandering about the grounds. If you
are allergic or not a cat fan this may not be
the place for you. This is a very nice hotel
and like the rest of Nicaragua, is an excellent
value. Please note: when we attempted to communicate
with reservations via email we did not have
any response, but had no difficulty calling
directly despite our inability to speak Spanish.

This
hotel is located a few minutes by car from
the coastal town of San Juan del Sur. It is
within walking distance for a very hardy walker
but my opinion is the road to town would be
somewhat dangerous for someone on foot. I
would recommend hiring a driver and/or renting
a car. The setting around the hotel is tranquil
with a lovely view over a tropical valley
toward the Pacific Ocean. The flowers and
vegetation on the grounds are much more abundant
than what is visible on the website. The hotel
exceeded my expectations based on the photos
from the website. The sunsets are beautiful.
The units are duplex/townhome type buildings,
all with a view of the ocean. They each have
two bedroom suites with queen size beds in
each room. The hotel will supply a roll away
for the fifth person which can either fit
easily in one of the bedrooms or along the
wall in the sitting room. The staff is very
pleasant and hospitable. The restaurant provided
some of our best meals in Nicaragua. This
hotel is, again like Nicaragua in general,
an excellent value. We were able to communicate
